Program Structure
A Personalized Path from Self-Discovery to Career Readiness
Our Teen Coaching programs are built to meet teenagers exactly where they are — emotionally, socially, and developmentally — while preparing them for the realities of adult life and future careers. Every program is highly customized, ensuring that no two coaching journeys look the same.
We combine life coaching, career exploration, and practical soft-skills training into a structured yet flexible experience that evolves with the teen’s confidence, maturity, and aspirations.
Each program begins with a joint Kickoff Session involving both the teen and parent(s). This session establishes trust, clarity, and alignment and allows us to understand:
- The teen’s current challenges, strengths, and level of self-awareness
- Their academic context, interests, and early career aspirations
- Parent expectations and priorities
This session helps define clear, personalized goals, ensuring the coaching journey is relevant, supportive, and practical from day one.
The heart of the program lies in weekly one-to-one coaching sessions, providing teens with a confidential, psychologically safe space to grow, reflect, and practice new skills.
Each session blends self-discovery, significant conversations, and actionable learning, tailored to the teen’s development stage, existing knowledge, and future goals.
Core Development Areas Include:
- Self-Discovery & Personality Assessment
Teens gain insight into their personality, strengths, decision-making style, and motivation — critical for confidence and career clarity. - Significant & Difficult Conversations
Teens learn to handle meaningful, emotionally charged, or challenging conversations with confidence — including expressing opinions, setting boundaries, and navigating conflict respectfully. - Self-Management & Accountability
Practical tools for focus, emotional regulation, time management, follow-through, and personal responsibility.
To prepare teens for real-world success, coaching sessions include targeted soft-skills training “nuggets”, selected based on the teen’s current capability and future career interests. These skills are introduced gradually and practiced in real-life contexts.
Examples include:
- Critical Thinking & Problem Solving – analyzing situations, questioning assumptions, and making informed choices
- Emotional Intelligence – self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, and resilience
- Leadership & Team Dynamics – collaboration, influence, accountability, and role awareness
- Convincing Communication & Negotiation – persuasive speaking, confident dialogue, handling disagreement
- Project Management Basics – planning, prioritization, goal tracking, and execution
- Decision-Making Under Pressure – evaluating options and consequences
- Personal Ethics & Responsibility – aligning actions with values
These skills are directly linked to the teen’s chosen interests or future career aspirations, making learning meaningful, engaging, and practical.
Parents receive regular, structured progress updates, offering insight into:
- Emotional and behavioral growth
- Skill development
- Areas of increasing independence and responsibility
- How parents can best support progress at home
This approach strengthens parent-teen relationships without compromising the teen’s need for confidentiality and trust.
Each program concludes with a Final Debrief Session, bringing together parent(s), teen, and coach to:
- Review progress and key breakthroughs
- Celebrate personal growth and achievements
- Clarify future goals and next steps
- Provide a personalized roadmap for continued development
